Morton Borough has declared Snow Emergency effective 5.00pm on Saturday January 24, 2026 due to the amount of snow accumulations.

Emergency Snow Routes must be cleared of any vehicles till Tuesday January 27th 9.00am or face ticketing.

Morton Borough Hall will be closed Monday January 26th due to the snow emergency.

Morton Borough residents please do not throw, blow or shovel snow back into the streets especially after being plowed this creates unsafe conditions for everyone and is against Morton Borough Policy.

**Trash pickup is postponed on Monday January 26th and will be picked up on Tuesday January 27th.**

**Morton Borough is looking for residents interested in becoming part of the following boards - the civil service commission, planning board and zoning board. If you are interested, please contact the borough manager at 610-543-4565.**
